You can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning. With deals running from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, that’s Luke’s motto anyway. You can score a Lone Star or other draft beers for just $2.50 or step it up with a mixed drink for $4.50.
J. Wilson’s – Best Beer Selection
With taps that rotate weekly, you’ll never tire of sipping a cold one at J.Wilson’s. They have happy hour from 3-6 p.m. daily, extra deals Sunday and Monday from 3-9 p.m., and a late-night happy hour Tuesday through Saturday from 9 to close when drafts are $2 off, signature cocktails are $3 off, and the house martini will set you back just a 5 spot (if you’re looking to class it up). There are also discounts on small plates and starters to snack while you sip. Just think of it as Beaumont’s very own Cheers.
The Grill – Best Patio
Inside is fine dining and white table clothes, but the Grill’s Cabana patio is one of the best after work meetup spots. With 50% off cocktails and beer and $2.50 sangria, happy hour just got a little bit happier. Happy hour runs Monday to Saturday from 3-7 p.m. and if you arrive towards the later end, you may even be able to catch the live band they have three times a week.
The Logon Cafe & Pub – Best Place to Play
If you’re like me and need a bar with some extra entertainment, the Logon Café was made for the ADD generation. Home to one of the longest running open mic nights in the Golden Triangle, they have karaoke, live music, and games on tap. Challenge your cohorts to darts, pool, foosball, cards, washers, dominoes, or even chess if you’re a real smarty pants. Drink specials vary by day but range from $2-4 for well drinks. Happy hour is from 3-7 p.m. daily.
Suga’s – Best Drink Deal
With $2 margaritas and $3 you-call-its, for being a fine dining establishment, Suga’s sure knows how to sweeten a deal. They have over 50 wines by the glass, which you can get $1 off at happy hour. Toss one back Monday through Saturday from 4-7 p.m. in the bar or patio area.
Step up your happy hour game! If you’re looking for a unique way to meet new people and learn about the history of Southeast Texas, consider attending a Heritage Happy Hour run by the Beaumont Heritage Society. Locations vary but there are meetups every few months. Good drinks are guaranteed.
